Hello, and welcome! BK here. 👋 I’m the founder and owner of Tera Kaia. I want to start by saying THANK YOU - from the bottom of my heart. Our member pre-orders help fund production and have become the absolute key to success as a small grassroots business.


Not only do you get the pride of knowing that you are making a huge difference in the TK community, but you are also helping redefine what the future of conscious commerce looks like. It truly takes creative thinking and a willingness to take ownership of your spending to direct your funds toward supporting the future you want to see.

The Basics:

What is this Membership?

The TK Supporting Membership is a recurring subscription that happens once per season. As a member, you are opting into pre-order one new Basewear item, and you may add on others if you like! You can also opt out of a pre-order if you want to skip.


This allows our customers to take the lead in helping fund production - which solves our biggest cashflow problem. It also helps us predict exactly which sizes, and how much to make - which avoids overproduction and is better for the planet. 


By committing to pre-order you are helping us out hugely - and so we reward that by providing members with perks, discounts, and first access to things like the gear sale.

Your Basewear Set

To become a member there is a one-time fee of $110. This gets you a Basewear set! Traditionally the set includes one TOURA Basewear top and one MARA High Waist bottoms. However, this may change depending on what we have in stock at the time you become a member. 


We may send you an email to arrange an alternative if we are out of stock in your requested size.

Member Account

When you make this initial purchase you are creating your membership subscription, and letting us know which top and bottom sizes you wear for future pre-orders. 


If you already have an account at www.terakaia.com using the same email you checked out with, your membership will link to it. If not, you can make an account at any time by creating a password. Just be sure to use the same email that you signed up with the membership.


Once you have an account you can log in any time at www.terakaia.com to edit your preferences, change your shipping address, or pause/cancel your membership.

Members Only Shopping Area

We've created a members only shopping area - members can shop our full inventory at any time. Just log into our website with the same email you used to purchase your membership and you'll get access! If you don't have an account yet you can make one and it will link automatically so long as you use your member email address.


Everything in this area already has your 20% discount automatically applied so you don't need to add it again!

10% Off Pre-Orders

All members get 10% off their pre-orders. First access, and a lil’ discount.

20% Discount Code to Share

After receiving your first pre-order we will send your discount code! This is formatted as follows: Firstname-Lastname-20. You are welcome to use this code for yourself or share it with others. The more you share the more we can grow - and we appreciate the word of mouth!

Secret Gear Sale First Access

Once or twice a year we host a secret gear sale where we sell all the pre-worn, scuffed, or mismatched samples we have collected throughout the year. As a member, you will get access 1 day before the public. This year the members cleaned it out in a few hours! Be sure to add our email addresses to your email contacts so we don’t go to spam.

Basewear Repairs

As a member, you always have access to Basewear Repairs. This is a paid service that we only open to new customers and members. You can request a Basewear Repair at any time by sending your worn Basewear to the address below. Be sure to include a note about your experience with the worn item, and anything that needs specific attention.

FAQ

How do I update my size?

  • Change Size / Cut Preference: Log in at www.terakaia.com using member email > Account > Manage Subscription > Swap Product > Select new top/bottom size from dropdown > Save Changes
  • When you fill out the seasonal pre-order form you will also have the option to swap your size for tops or bottoms on that pre-order.

How do I update my shipping address?

  • Update Shipping Address: Log in at www.terakaia.com using member email > Account > Manage Subscription > Scroll down and look at the right side column > Under “Product Shipping Info” click “Edit” > Update your address and save

How do I update my credit card?

  • Update Credit Card: Log in at www.terakaia.com using member email > Account > Manage Subscription > Scroll down and look at the right side column > Under “Payment Details” click “Edit” > Send the email and follow the instructions in your email to update.
  • If your card is expired when we run the pre-order our system will notify you about updating your payment info. Once you update it the system will run your order again and make sure it is completed. 🙂 
  • If a card fails over 7 times your membership is automatically paused, and you can contact us to resume it.
