AURORA Brief + Thong Update (4/1/25)

Hello members! Firstly, thank you SO MUCH for your ongoing patience this past year and a half. The production for AURORA has been far from smooth, and the fact that you all are still supporting us and being so wonderful has been an absolute gift.

So, as you all know the AURORA designs have all arrived EXCEPT for the Brief and Thong. That’s because, since the dawn of us making bottoms - getting the fit just right is extremely difficult. Development for bottoms takes much longer than the tops, because everyone’s body type from the waist down has much more variation.

For a little behind the scenes action here are a few images of what Jen has been working through with our development team in Colombia. Basically, the fit of the thong is just *slightly* too loose on the sides, which creates a bit of a wrinkle. Additionally, our initial seamless design just isn’t quite possible with the current technology at our factory - at least not while maintaining the level of “feels like nothing is there” comfort that we expect from Basewear.

So, we’re doing our best to make some adjustments and get everything as close to perfect as we can. Please don’t think we have forgotten about your orders! We’re doing our best to make sure the Brief + Thong maintains the same quality we would expect for all our other Basewear items.

I know everyone wants an ETA, but the reality of production is that it is constantly fluctuating and changing. Currently our ETA with the factory is ASAP but only so long as we can get them completed while maintaining the comfort you expect.
